This is a free service for connecting carpoolers who commute locally, as well as for longer-distance travelers going the same direction.
Metroplan (arkRide.com)
Metroplan is a joint program of the Metropolitan Planning Organization and the Council of Local Governments in Central Arkansas. The arkRide.com system is a free, Web-based, ride-matching service for commuters in Central Arkansas. The system matches commuters based on proximity to origin, destination, and travel route, as well as time schedules and ride-sharing preferences. In addition to carpooling, the arkRide.com system facilitates transit-, bike-, and walk-buddy matching, as well as vanpool-service requests.
