Boiler Operator Training

This three day training covers safe and energy efficient boiler operation, including maintenance, inspection, codes and trouble shooting.  Training is for licensed boiler operators, primarily high pressure boiler operators. Energy Efficiency Arkansas is offering three separate, but identical training.

  • March 16-18: Chamber of Commerce, Texarkana, AR
  • April 13-15: NorthWest Arkansas Community College, Bentonville, AR
  • May 11-13: Arkansas State University, Jonesboro, AR

Growing Arkansas' Green Economy

Pulaski County Brownfields, a partnership of Pulaski County and the cities of Little Rock and North Little Rock, is organizing the Growing Arkansas' Green Economy (GAGE) Conferences. GAGE is a two day conference organized to introduce and encourage advocacy and participationin the growing green economy.

    • 12-3-2009 -  A StEP review was held on December 3rd, 2009. Information was presented to help agencies update their Strategic Energy Plans (StEPs), providing more specific and detailed information.

    • 10-20-2009 - A Webinar was held on Tuesday, October 20, to provide updates and assistance for agency Strategic Energy Plans (StEPs), pursuant to Executive Order 09-07 and Act 1494 of 2009. Questions and answers from the September 15th session were reviewed, as well as new questions and information developed by Arkansas's Energy Efficient State Government Working Group.
